Module 7 - Juvenile Justice Institutions

Investigation of Juvenile Justice Institutions commenced on Tuesday 1st September 2015 and spanned 31 sitting days.  The Inquiry began by looking at St Patrick's Training School followed by Rathgael Training School, Lisnevin Training School and Hydebank Young Offenders Centre.  The timetable of proceedings with links to the transcripts, witness statements and evidence are provided below for each sitting day.

Key to designations

HIA - A witness who was resident in an institution and has given evidence to the Historical Institutional Abuse Inquiry.
SPT - A witness who can provide evidence in relation to St Patrick’s Training School.
RG - A witness who can provide evidence in relation to Rathgael Training School.
LN - A witness who can provide evidence in relation to Lisnevin Training School.
BR - A Brother who worked in an institution under investigation or who belonged to the Order concerned.
HSCB - Health & Social Care Board.
DHSSPS - Department of Health & Social Services & Public Safety.
DOJ - Department of Justice.
